Frequently asked questions
Do we need any experience to take part?
Not at all! Our events are designed for beginners through to experienced paddlers. Our qualified coaches provide full safety briefings, equipment, and on-water training so everyone can enjoy the experience.
Where do you run dragon boat experiences?
We deliver dragon boat experiences in London and across the UK. Popular venues include Canary Wharf, the Docklands, and other rivers and lakes suited for group sessions. We can also source locations close to your business or community.
What types of experiences do you offer?
We run corporate team building days, charity fundraising events, private group experiences, and training camps. Each experience is tailored to your group size, goals, and budget.
Is it safe?
Yes! safety is our priority. All sessions are led by qualified coaches and helms with British Dragon Boat Association (BDA) certification. We provide buoyancy aids, follow strict water safety protocols and adapt sessions to weather conditions.
What should we bring or wear?
We recommend sportswear or comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting splashed, plus a change of clothes and a towel. Footwear should be trainers or water shoes (no flip flops). We provide all boats, paddles, and buoyancy aids.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on group size, location, and event type. We offer flexible packages for corporate events, charity fundraisers, and private groups. Contact us for a bespoke quote.
How far in advance should we book?
For corporate or charity events, we suggest booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance, especially during summer months. Smaller groups may be able to book with shorter notice.
Do you provide catering or add-ons?
We can arrange catering, trophies, branded merchandise, or extras such as professional photography and team-building workshops to create a full event package.
